Last Night’s Rehearsal

Last rehearsal before the concert this Sunday.

My stand partner and I agreed it was the best she and I have played all three pieces (Beethoven’s 4th and Egmont Overture, and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto). Yay us!  Even though I am nowhere near able to practice as many hours a day as I should, what I’ve been able to do has reaped benefits. But I need to keep at it, so I can at least end the concert knowing I gave it my best, screw mistakes!

The conductor was not at all pleased overall, but most of his issues were with the brass and winds, so I’m not worried. That’s probably the norm anyway.

Feeling encouraged.
