Cycles

Every life experience has a cycle. Things are born, have their time, fade and die, and are again reborn. What is left is reborn in unexpected ways and by inspired means, only to fall back to nothing, and re-conceived again in more fullness. People enter and leave. Those who stay, cycle through close and apart and close again. Success to failure to success. Abundance to poverty to abundance. The process is complicated by the fact that much of our over-civilized culture has a difficult time tolerating the transformative.

Loosely quoted from Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes

When we enter into a situation, we need to be open-minded as to its purpose. We pour our best efforts into it, share the juices that are offered. At the end, ideally, we grow.
